Ill have to look for Tangiers. Locally all I can really get is Al Fakher and star buzz but I just saw that the site I order from carries Tangiers.
And to go off what John said about a splash of Jager in the water adding to the smoke. I assume the same would work with other alcohols. In general I hear people talk about vodka but I assume if I was smoking melon berry I could add some Midori melon liqueur or something similar.

I usually bring mine on deployments with me, don't really have a favorite just whatever I can pick up locally wherever I am. I do prefer the fruit flavors, smelled mint stuff once and decided not to pack it after that, just didn't smell good.

Thats pretty cool Sinnfein. I would imagine its not TOO hard to find shisha while in country. Especially if your in the middle east. Out of curiosity what do you find most while deployed? Is there any one brand or flavor that you can seem to find anywhere?

I can't recall any of the brands off hand, I'll check next time I deploy, it's usually just in a colored box that kind of matches the flavor, you know orange box for orange, red for strawberry and so on, with a picture of what ever the flavor is on it. The boxes are about the size of a pack of cigarettes.

yeah i have been smokin hookah for 6yrs my fav is my brass temsah,with Nakhla double apple mixed with some mint..

Couple days ago I broke out some Al Fakher "energy drink" tobacco. It could just as easily be sold as berry flavored....

I used to be a hookah fiend. I had a Khalil Mamoon hookah with a SS large bottle base, vortex bowl, and some egyptian hose I picked up separate. One of my favorite shishas was Tangiers.

Wow. I really am old. When I was in college, hookahs were common, but they were used for a slightly different blend (while keeping an eye out for a bust). I think today, they call them 'bongs'. Gas was about the same as your generation, the demonstrations were against Viet Nam, not the Shah and the horrible president was Nixon.
