Found this beautiful Sig Sauer Special Edition 1911 in the Gun Shop yesterday. I thought you guys would appreciate it. This one comes with some pretty nice extras too, including a K-BAR and a really nice pelican case to store it in!

Nice. You'll have to update us on how it groups.
Oh no Otto, I couldn't pick this up unfortunately...at least, I couldn't pick it up and still be able to afford to visit my family for Christmas. This is the first special edition SIG I've seen and though I'd share. I am looking into picking up either SIG C3 or a Kimber Pro TLE II 1911 sometime next month/early February after I file my tax return. I'll post pics and be sure to let you guys know how they shoot/group, although I should expect them to do well. 1911 is such a wonderfully designed platform and the SIGs and Kimbers are really well put together. This SIG in particular felt really nice in my hands. I wish they would have given me the opportunity to put a few rounds through it. It has Tritium night sights on it and an altogether solid feel to it. It sighted really well even in the fairly dimly lit shop. If I had the spare money I would have picked it up on the spot. Also looked at a Springfield XD(M) 9mm competition pistol while I was there. If you haven't seen one those are worth checking out as well!
That's a nice looking Sig. Although I always preferred the 'classic series' in Sigs and Colt for my 1911's.

Such a shame you couldn't pick it up. I prefer blued guns though, personally. Sounds like an awesome deal though!
Nice pistol. What is with the POW/MIA egraving though? Do they donate some of the shekel's to some fund?... I hate it when companies use the military flippantly...
Picked up this SIG C3 1911 with Crimson Trace lasergrips and an extended magwell for an unbelievable price. This thing is almost too pretty to shoot! What I really like about it is that, where as it has a 4" barrel and slide, it's sitting on an officer's frame. Conceals beautifully and, after taking it to the range on Sunday: boy is it accurate! I'm happy to say that I'm now a member of the pistol owner's community, and really wanted to share![]()
