    Ohhh that looks flash
Belt speeds can vary based on pre or post heat treat and blade thickness
But also the belt type can require different speeds as some belts need higher speeds to make them work well then others run well at low speeds

Nice clone of KMG grinder, Karlej, you have some learning to do, grinder lore is easily found in the knifemaker section at Bladeforums.com, it is the best place I know of to learn about grinders of all makes and their use.

From what I know, the Razor grinding units are opposing wheel sets but there is not much info around on them.

Charlie grinds edge up, and often on the top of the wheel. I learned a lot watching him do this at Mike Blue's place several years age. Having said that, anything that works for someone is the one of the right ways to do something.

    I grind edge down exclusively.

Excellent video, Bruno. What you say, and demonstrate, about a foil edge makes perfect sense. One more thing I will have to try. Thanks for posting.
