    Default Demo of my new gas forge

    This is a video I made with a quick explanation of how my new forge works.
    For now I've set the regulator to 10 psi.

    Okay, I'll ask the dumb question;

    Bruno how do you know what the temperature is inside the hole?

    Aloha!

    Nice forge. I used to have a metal art fabricating shop with blacksmithing, and took classes to learn the trade - as a hobby. I had a home made forge (propane gas fired) dual burner made from an old 10 lb freon canister, but most use an old propane container. Common here in the US to convert these to forges. You make the burner elements out of 1" gas pipe. It worked very well. Sure beat a coal forge and bellows!

    Isn't the volume of that forge too small for the T-Rex?

    Congrats on the new toy!

    Yes and no. At max gas pressure that would be way too hot. But with the needle point valve I can regulate it pretty well.
    I could probably have used the next model down but I wanted to have the option to switch out the forge chamber for a bigger one.
