Happy late "B"Day. Your output will go way up once you get the power hammer up & running. There is a lot of tooling that will make that hammer do so many things you had to do with a hand hammer and hand tools that you won't believe it.
I have had people say "oh you use a power hammer, That's not hand made"! Well let me tell you it IS hand made & to get the skills to use a power hammer to 1. not kill you & 2. do what you want it to makes it hand made. Your hands & feet control the hammer & the stock & your mind has to work many times faster running a power hammer. I love running & working on power hammers. My grandpa Huffman was a Blacksmith helper in a large railroad shop in the late teens & a great uncle on my Moms side started as a blacksmith in the late 1800's & had metal working shops till he pased in 1965. Getting to work in my friends shop & being able to make razors & knives besides doing repair type smithing will make me feel whole again.
    Once again "Happy Late Birthday"!!

These are the ones I heat treated today. Top is a wootz razor. Unlike other wootz razors, I decided to take a risk and use clay to make a hamon in the wootz pattern. I dreaded hearing the 'ping' but that never came. Felt pretty good about it when I removed the clay and was greeted by a crisp hamon line. The next two are in Damascus from Ed Schempp. It has my logo embedded as mosaic Damascus all the way through the blade. And the last one is a Howard Clark Damascus. That last one is going to be my Christmas Damascus giveaway razor.
