    Talking Finally got my kiln!

So it finally got here by freight on Friday! Paragon KM-14D. Got it through a Pottery supply place and it ended up being much cheaper than any online advertised price (if anyone is in the market, email me and I'll point you to them). It was lighter than I expected after taking it out of the packing and all. I've just set it up in a temporary spot (on my G11 topped finishing bench) for now to do some annealing until I have my oil set-up and have a more specific spot for my kiln. Enjoy the pics!

Nice kilm... so in the pictures can we assume you are taking in sewing as well?

Woot! One step closer. I can't wait to see what you're gonna make with that.

Well you could assume that, but you'd be wrong. It's my lady's. Nice try though.

Best of luck on your new endeavor Alex. I have a feeling you'll be right up there with Williams, Livi, and Chandler before too long.

I was thinking of making one, I have seen lots of homemade ones on blacksmith and knife forums. Some of the free lathe parts that I acquired was from a blacksmith and he had just finished making one....I wanted to be his new best friend. I found that the materials to make one are fairly inexpensive. But I must say Alex I am envious.
