Thread: Any Straight razor maintenance and custom work/wet shaving vendors in Houston.

Hey yall, i was wondering if there were any vendors that deal with wet shaving needs or straight razors in Houston, Texas? i sent two razors over to Brad Maggard and he does awsome work! but he is really busy and has a pretty long wait time. i might get my razors back by the end of summer. so i was wondering if any of yall knew of anybody who does razor work in houston. Im in college ( U of H go Coogs!!) i'd do it myself but i live in a town house by campus and have no room for tools.. =[ please let me know!! thanks yall!!

well the two razors i had i already sent to mr. maggard, but i have a blade that i need to have re pined and another blade i might want to have re scaled. i have a thiers issard that has water spots i want removed if possible

Well I have been trying to get some people together in this area. I am currently making new scales for a bunch and waiting on some new greaseless compound to come in so If you would like to get together or try to get a group together let me know.

Hey guys I live in Houston as well, and was looking to see if there were any groups that got together here or did any type of work on razors. it seemed that there was not many straight razor shavers down here in Houston
