Thread: half hollow vs. full hollow

I'm relatively new to straight razor shaving and I've been shaving for a few months now with a 6/8 half hollow razor. I recently acquired a 5/8 full hollow that I've sent off to be honed. When I get it back, I was wondering if I need to make any adjustments to my shaving technique since it's a full-hollow instead of a half-hollow grind.

If your technique is good, not really, if it's not so good you most likely will have to ease on the pressure.
