I get a little sad when I finsh.
Does anyone else feel just a bit sad once you realize you've finished the last stroke and there's no need to continue scraping the blade across your skin. It's only for a moment but it's there. Then I remember the ritual isn't really over, I still have to clean the brush, strop the razor, etc.. but the best part is surely finished.

Nah, I look in the mirror, feel around the face and simply smile for a shave well done. It's an "AHHHH" moment for me.
By the way, I love St. John's, Newfoundland and Cornerbrook, beautiful country up there and wonderful people. I visited there in 1981. I hope to take my wife there.

OK, I'll admit it. I do get choked up a little bit. It's good the shave is over because it waters down my lather.
