Well, I may have to get Randy to make another road trip for this one.

Is this really just a one day event? Four days of driving would be a little hard to swallow for a one day event.

Thanks for starting a thread for this Prahston, beat me to it. Looking forward to seeing old friends and meeting some new ones.

Utopian: This is a one day event for this year. Talked about two days, but I can't swing it just yet for a variety of reasons. I would love to do it 2017, but I will have to see how this year goes. Been trying for a little more each year without over reaching causing a mess.

That is completely understandable. I'm just looking for a better excuse to go! I'd really like to go but it's hard to justify the cost and time for one day.

Ya, that's one heck of a trip for you. Let me know if there is anything I can do on my end.

Depending on what you liked/wanted to do, it may not be too difficult to get two days out of Seattle... I believe September is still peek season for Orca viewing... Lots of historical tours/info like The Underground Tour... Pike Place Market/Piers/Area could easily take a day of food, fun and looking around... Lots of glass-blowing places... Tons of shopping... Incredible Food and Drink. I am sure there is more I am not thinking of right now.

What kind of stuff do you like to do besides Shaving... Maybe somebody can point you in the right direction.

I'll dig up a few links for some of the good tourist draws in the area and post them here.

Here's a few spots that even the locals enjoy
Space Needle: Have to see it at least once
Pikes Place Market: There is actually a warren of cool little shops underneath
EMP Museum: Besides the trippy building design it also has a side museum for Sci-Fi fans.
    Museum of Flight
    Museum of History and Industry
Chihuly Garden and Glass: Beautiful blown glass work, simply stunning
Underground tour: The street level entrances you use today are actually the second story of many old buildings.
Bite of Seattle: Fun tour that leads you to about a dozen places for samples of local foods.

The wife and I are crazy about the Edgewater Hotel with a great bar and superb dining. Fantastic location and great places to visit that are all within walking distance.
