Since this is the UK thread I would like to draw your attention to the following thread:

    http://www.straightrazorplace.com/fo...tml#post391039

In particuar those of us from Scotland eg Makar and Garry. I dont expect any result, but nobody else I knows understands the importance of my razors to me. Thats why I bring this to SRP.

Malcom .... sorry to here that, I've been living with losing my job now for about 2-3 yrs . I'm a lowly agency worker and i'm on a day to day basis on the contract I'm working on ..
I've been on this contract now for 11yrs

It's never easy and I wish you all the speed in the world finding new work ..

I've also just noticed Majurey is coming , excellent
I've got way too many things bouncing around my head at the mo and sometimes miss things

    Cheers .. Garry

Grazia and I are going to be flying in. What's the closest airport and when should we be planning on arriving/leaving? Will there be someone who can pick us up (theoretically I could rent a car but I'm afraid I'll kill myself driving on the left side of the road)?

Inverness theoretically but there are very few flights there. After that.... probably Glasgow. Best be getting a lift up with someone. If you fly to Glasgow make it Glasgow International. Not Glasgow Prestwick. The latter is MILES from Glasgow!

EDIT: Actually Flybe do alot of cheap flights to and from Inverness.

Looks like getting there is going to be a littled complicated ... is there anyone who would be willing to give us a lift up?

    Coupla things:

    - just met up with Lee (Dave12345) for a session on honing and he sounds like another convert to joining us in September. Hopefully he will find this thread and contact Garry/Spike etc.

    - Dov, I'm probably going to fly to Inverness and will pick up a car there to drive. Happy to give you both a lift but won't know timings yet. Looks to be Saturday midday possibly. Also, I will be leaving Monday to get back to London. I'll do some more planning and let you know by pm what it looks like it will be.

    Default Hi

    Hi gents,
Spike can you put me on the list for the 5th September.
It will be an oppertunity to sample a bit of Hagis, I have always fancied giving it a go.

Just spent a couple of hours with Mark doing some honing, a great chap who took my razors to a new level.

    Regards
