Thread: Upstate/Central/Western NY Meetup

Any thoughts on another meet up? I had a great time at the last one and would like to do it again. Now that it's spring, we won't have to worry about road conditions and such, so I say we try to do this sooner than later.

Rochester, Buffalo, Ithica, Albany... any of the following would be great depending on who is interested in attending/hosting.

CarrieM and I will do our best to attend where ever the next meet is and I'm sure JrJoeD would like to come along but it would depend on the date for him. We have always had a great time meeting everyone as well as seeing everyone else's great stuff and building on our skills. Location is not an issue for us as the weather is getting much better. Any place would be fine!

I'd love to join you , but i think I have too much on my plate right now. I'm all over the place in the next 3 months but I'll wait to see the final arrangements and see if it could be done. My plans seem to change almost daily so there;s no sense in telling you what works now. You guys do what's best for the group and I'll see if I can fit in. Thanks for the heads up, I really do appreciate being thought of for this.

I should be up for this. I'm a little swamped until around the middle of the month, but then things free up.

I'm still available to meet at and when it is convenient for everyone else. I think we should wait to see if Cassady, Gugi and Syslight has a little more time to reply. If it's just ScottS, Holli4pirates and myself the 18th of April would be good. JrJoeD will be with us that day and I know he would like to attend also. He is with us every other weekend but if the date of the meet falls on an off weekend that will have to do and CarrieM and I will still attend.

18th would work for me. Even if everyone can't make it, I'd still be more than happy to have a small get together.

You're place would be fine. CarrieM said the date is OK too. If anyone else wants to come but change the date and/or place that wold be fine too but I'd have to check my calendar again, that's if the date changes from the 18th of April. Hope to see everyone soon.

As it stands right now, Rochester NY which is between Syracuse and Buffalo. There are members in Buffalo, Ithaca and Albany areas that still may want to join us. If they do, the location may change. I come from LI and used to make the trip often to Islip. Shortest time was 6.5 hrs by car, but that was pushing it. g with 7.5 hrs and you will be close. Holli4pirating may be down that way this weekend. Earthdawn is on LI and CoachMike is in NJ. If you all want to come up you can car pool. You are all welcome to join us. I'm surer we would like to meet you guys and you are all welcome. Then again, you guys may want to have a meet down there. If you would like to come up PM Holli4pirating for contact info and directions. Then, if things change on short notice we'll be sure you are contacted.

If there was to be a meeting downstate, there's a good chance I'd go. I have friends and family down there, so I like to go down now and then anyhow. But I'm going to be taking lots of classes this summer, so I can't guarantee that I'd make it. If a thread gets started for a lower NY meetup, drop me a PM so I don't miss it.
