Thread: Omaha, NE area straight razor get together

There are a couple of us SRP types in the Omaha area. We were talking today about possibly getting a group together for some type of straight razor gathering. First step is to identify those who have an interest. So respond to this thread or PM me if interested. Maybe we could get a tri-state Iowa/Kansas/Nebraska gathering together?

If there will be BBQ and corn then I may be able to make it with the fam. Just depends on the date and time. A Nice vacation sorta.

I'm new at straight razoring. Is there anyone in the Omaha area that can show me how to hone it?

I am also new to straights and sadly can not help learn honing for now. Really just replied to let you know I am located in Omaha, in case you do want to meet up

Thanks but sadly it looks like almost everyone with experience in Nebraska no longer read the forum.

You might be surprised...... send each one a PM and if possible an email if they have made that possible. Frequently a user has opted to be notified by email if a PM is sent, sometimes not.

I have done this for a number of Razor Meets in Minnesota, Missouri, Wisconsin etc. and it is a bit tedious but once you get a group together, of any size and of any experience level, you will be happy that you did.
