Thread: Is there interest in another WNY meet

There has been a thought tossed around that we would like to have another meet before the dreaded snow starts falling. If anyone is interested please let me know and we can determine a date and place to hold it. I was thinking late October early November time frame.

Weekend of the 16th-18th is home coming/alumni weekend so I wouldn't be able to do it then. Otherwise I'm definitely up for it, pending a car. (ie. Have to ask my mom or girlfriend or a brother to borrow a car again, or carpool- my car won't make it halfway there...)

Assuming it is near Rochester again that is.

Definitely need to discuss honing and stropping some more. And I have new toys to show off... J-nat, couple strops, couple razors, etc....

Thanks for replying so quickly, Not quite sure where it is going to be yet. Depends on if someone else wants to host. If not than we can have it here without a problem.

I feel like I want to host but my folks aren't on board, and there's no real way to do it at the frat (esp. on a weekend). So I have to free load again. I am sorry...

I'm in!! We are always open to hold the meets and all are always welcome. BYOB and cigars are welcome too!!

I'm in, and pretty much free for the forseeable future. I've got some new thingies people can play with, and I'd be more than happy to bring cigars, pipes and tobacco, and almost definitely some Scotch as well.

I'm up for it for sure...even though I haven't shaved with a straight since the onset of the sciatica I'll be happy to hang around and smoke cigars.

I'm def. down for trying out the pipe I should be getting shortly... sorry there Holli... due to my rough weekend I slept til 3ish today and didn't make it to the post. Tomorrow for sure though...
