Thread: anyone for an Oklahoma meet & greet?

Might there be any interest in an Oklahoma meet and greet?
I'm in OKC, and could probably find a place for us to use for a day event here in the metro area.

I am in the Tulsa area and would be interested some day.

I know lee (hogladoo) and some of the boys get together up there fairly often drop him a line!!

Depending on the date & time, I'd be interested. It'd be especially cool to have show & tell, hands on honing, and other stuff like that.

Sounds good to me. We have a couple of new members from N.E. Oklahoma (the frozen wasteland that it has become) who may also be interested . Why not make it an Oklahoma / N.W Arkansas get together? I note that there are a few in Arkansas as well. Combining the two states should give us a fairly good size gathering, providing they're interested.

I was thinking of an OKC place, but if tulsa or thereabouts would work better to draw from the four states area, then I'm game for that too. The more the merrier! I really would like to learn honing, so it would be cool if a few guys could bring their stones. About all I could bring would be the basic set up for showing how I do the pierced and engraved scales.
I would prefer something closer to Tulsa if we set up out there, so it would be easier for me to day trip.

The hermit(me) says ok. apparently though, we have no strong leader among us, as this has been an ongoing suggestion since my join date. The place I had in mind to meet is closed. I'd prefer OKC
