Thread: Fort Lee Meet

There has been discussion about a Fort Lee meet. If it happens, I will try to attend and, as at the NYC meet, I'll voulenteer to bring stuff again and demo anything I bring as best I can.

I am not stepping up to organize or plan the meet, though. I'll just do what people ask as best I can.

I have found that the best way is someone steps up, says they will organize, then they just pick a date, time, and location and that is that. Trying to get everyone to agree takes a long time, and, unfortunately, there will be conflicts. Two words "Future Meets."

Someone musta made that smiley just for you. You showed me your thumbs several times at the NYC meet.

Oh, Gary, I thought you were saying you wanted to organize it. I'm easily confused.

I wasn't able to make the NYC meet, so needless to say I'm very excited about the Fort Lee meet. I'm in Manhattan so I don't think I'd be of much help picking locations, but if I can help in any way, please let me know.

Two days later, and no one has stepped up...

Who even started talk about a Fort Lee meet? It looks like there is no actual interest in making it happen.

MVcrash said they had access to a suitable space. and Nolig23 said he'd be willing to help organize. I PM'd MVcrash but haven't heard back.

Worst case scenario we'll do it again in Brooklyn.
