Thread: UK 2011 RazorCon!

Hey folks!

Last years RazorCon was awesome and it was really great to meet all you guys there, but what I'd really like to do this time is make a a full day of it or even a long weekend of it..!

So what I'd like to know is where people would like to hold the event and what time of year?

There was some talk of hiring a place for a long weekend in Wales at the last meet so is this something that people are interested in?

Let me know what you think and we/I can start getting the ball rolling..!

I had a really great time at the 2010 razorcon, so I am definitely up for another one!
Stu, you make a good point, more time would be perfect.

My one concern would be Adrspach's back.
Imagine him carrying all them lovely hones all the way to Wales.

If people are coming from overseas it would be good to hold it close-ish to the airport so no ones having to make a 3 hour train ride after the flight? Or is that not so much of a problem?

Any preferences on location? Wales? London? Oxford?

I'll try to come regardless of location.

Having said that, London is quite the experience, for me at least, with all the wonderful shaving related shops you guys have over there.

I'm completely in, and would rather do a weekend insteadnof an evening. A great big table with whisky and razors would work.

Perhaps there's a B&B that could take the lot of us. They could cook and bring food and drinks while we hone and laugh in a big room.

Adrspach's back will be fine. He lives around the corner from me, so we would simply drive in.
