Ugh work is trying to kill me... We are doing a special pizza with smoked bacon, panchetta, and roasted peppers... It's soo good /drool

Ya panchetta and smoked bacon are basically the same to non foodies, but the flavors are quite different. I'm still drooling and trying to find more things to do with bacon and it's relatives The book called "Bacon" is fantastic, look it up if you like all things bacon

    i love bacon

however, for a while now i have been living in a rather small town in lithuania so i cannot get my hands on bacon too often. but i do enjoy doing many things with bacon. sometimes a good bacon dish is a nice plate of a big pile of greasy bacon and nothing but.

but also ... bacon on pizza, blt's (of course) little bacon bits on a nice fresh salad (salted red onions soaked in white wine vinegar, curly lettuce leaves, ripe cherry tomatoes quartered, slices of orange/yellow bell pepper, small slices of cayenne chilies, pan fried or grilled chicken breast strips marinated in olive oil, cayenne pepper powder, garlic, lime juice, salt, five pepper mix, and oregano; dressing: greek kalamata extra virgin olive oil, pinch of salt, pinch of roasted garlic/pepper mix, and pinch of mediteranian herb/spice mix) ... very tasty

    damn, i'm getting hungry

    Mmm bacon…

Mostly I use it for a slow and peaceful Sunday brunch.
Coffee, black and lots of it.
Eggs, bacon, pancakes and Canadian maple syrup.
My local grocery store, in Norway, has started to stock Canadian maple syrup.

How about using bacon in a “multi meat”-pizza with sausages and a bunch of different meat varieties?

    I’m getting hungry….

I miss Pagliacci’s pizza in Seattle......
