Any Yoopers here? I graduated Calumet High School 1973. Lived in Ahmeek. Miss the winters, living here in KS, all the snow we get amounts to a heavy frost in the UP.
Come on back to Michigan, we could use another person to help shovel the snow. It is now official...the new governor declared the only two seasons recognized by the State of Michigan will be winter and road repair. I am from the LP (Troll) near the Detroit area. First chance I get I hope to move down south. The economy here is still getting worse.
Yeah, I miss the UP, my snow shoes are now wall art. KS is ok, I hate torando season, I'd rather shovel snow than be running for the basement.
