very fast cutter no need to soak ahead of time, it help me to set a bevel real fast, it also gives you great feedback, I will be getting more shapton stones from now on. so far I haven't tryed naniwa chosera nor shapton professional series because I am on a budget butI already got naniwa superstones, nortons, spyderco,and king waterstones but I think shapton are the real good.
