    Thanks, I didn't know what the actual honing material was.

    Shapton makes several lines of stones, Im just getting up to speed on them, I believe the "glass stones" appear to be their top line stones, the price on that 30k stone will hurt your feelings!!

    You think the Glass 30K is bad? The Pro was $650 when it was available.
