Default Best way to adhere synthetic stone to base

I'd like to glue my chosera 1k to a base of either wood or plastic so that it will fit in the brace that I use for my other 8x3" stones.
I know I've seen some folks glue them down to a block of wood before and was wondering if there was a best method to doing this. I would imagine superglue would work just fine but I want to assure it doesn't creep into the stone too much. (Probably overthinking it)
Any experience/advice would be appreciated. Thanks!

I'd take a piece of 2X4 cut to fit the brace and crazy glue some non slip netting to it. Place the 2X4 into the brace and your hone on top Good to go without having to glue the hone to anything.

I have some rubber pieces that are just under an inch thick, I put one of those on the counter and my hones on top of that, however, some of my hones have a base and others do not. I intend to make height matching bases for them all. I know Glen used epoxy to mount his hones on wood bases, so I will follow with that.

I used epoxy and stuck it on a piece of Granite tile that was cut the same size as the stone. Worked fine for me. Fits in the clamps just fine.
