hey,
today my naguras arrived.
the koma is so hard, that its really hard to create a slurry with it. dont even know if its koma slurry or slurry out of the oozuku.

Ohzuku are some of the hardest stones you will find, the koma should be softer than that. Great looking naguras too.
The seller recommended to dip naguras in water for a "few days".. Do you guys think that this is proper way to use them?
I received them few days ago Botan, Tenjo, Mejiro

yes soaking makes slurry release easier.

Ive asked Jim bout soaking the naguras and he Saison soaking natural japanese Stones is not a good idea neither hones nor mikawa naguras.
I wouldn't recomend soaking them either. Just wet the hone surface and the nagura and go at it.

I have soaked all my stones for 2 days with no ill effects.
