Thread: Vintage Diamond King razor hone

Does anyonme have experience with these old hones?

I found one I can pick up for about $25 and I'm wondering if I should.

I'm kind of curious about this as well, my brother was at an antique shop and found one and sent it to me as a little gift...I haven't ventured into the world on hones (yet) but I'm wondering, while there will definitely be some differences, do all barber hones mostly function in a similar way? Or would the difference between a diamond king and a swaty be significantly different?
