Default Where can I get it?

I need to buy a Norton flattening stone, but I can't find it online, appart from Straight razor designs, but they don't accept money orders or bank cheques, so that's not an option. Does anybody know of an online shop that sells them, and ships to Australia? I don't have a credit card, so the only way i can pay for it is a bank cheque/money order.

Why do you want a Norton flattening stone? They are notoriously unflat.

You could set up a paypal account. All you need to do is put in your checking\savings account number

Don't buy it, get a DMT D8C instead, the Norton stone is useless basically.

DMT325 would be my choice - in fact it was - CarbaTec for 65 (in Bris anyway)
The only thing is that you need to break it in with and old plane blade or something similar

What's with all the hatred for the Norton flattening stone? I use mine as a base for my other stones, just walk them to the sink and rub them under running water when they start to load up. I flip it over and use it for frown repair with the spine up. I've also used it to sharpen knives. I'm pleased as can be with mine.

I've used mine quite a bit. Not so much for flattening stones anymore, but for knives and major razor repair work. I used mine for the initial flattening on my stones, but now I use a phig to keep them refreshed.

Thanks for the replies. I'll probably end up setting up a paypal account, like "dewey81" suggested. Also, what's wrong with the Norton flattening stone? I've read nothing but good things about it :P

Or I could get a pre-paid Visa card.
