Default Where to buy a Stone

Other then ebay (all types of internet auction) or from any vendor on here. What I'm asking is can someone go to a Stone store. There is a store near Me that sells stones for building.. walk ways, contertops and so on... I remember a few years ago, there was a thread about stones that could be used to hone with... I must be having a brain fart, cause I can't seem to find it now...

If the answer is YES, could someone post the names of the stones to get/ask for? I remember one stone that has the name Blue in it, but that's all I can remember... Sux getting Old....Now what was the Question???... O-Yes, Stones.... Damnit. LOL

Any and all help will be grateful.

Try a Woodworking shop. In Atlanta GA, we have Highland Hardware. They sell all kinds of Norton stones as well as the other Japanese stones as well.
