    Default KnifeMaster "Pro Sharpening System"

Hey guys. Has anyone used one of these KnifeMaster Pro Sharpening Systems before? I'm not so sure that it would be the best thing to put a razor to one of them... I'd like to get some opinions before I make my decision to get one. If you've never heard of it, you can check it out at this link Knife-Sharpening-System.

I think that I heard my razors cry when I clicked that link. For that money, just get a set of Norton waterstones and a DMT 8C.

I was gonna say it might be useful for restoring destroyed edges but that would be all. Motor spins awful quick tho. It's a 'no' from me.

Don't buy it unless it has water on it. You will burn you blades up.

Looks like a $40 Harbor Freight belt grinder with $10 worth of belts thrown in.

Belt Sander with 1'' X 30'' Sanding Belt

    Caveat emptor.

Oh, and it's not for honing a razor.

Save your cash and get a Norton 4k/8k, a DMT 325 and Lynn's DVD.

Thanks, I wouldn't put one of my razors to it either. I bought my Nortons from Lynn about five months ago, they do just fine. A friend asked me to sharpen his KA-BAR with my stones, and I agreed. I don't want to ruin my stones, this thing is stainless and hard to sharpen. I need a DMT for it I think.
