Is this strop good enough?

I was looking at the cheap strop I had bought 3 months ago:




Is there any problem if I continue using it with the rough edges?

I would clean them up, either with a pumice stone, or sandpaper (but be careful to remove any grit particles left on or embedded in the strop).

I have some cheap strops and some expensive ones. I many times just sit in my easy chair and strop on my jeans ( leg)
Works fine

Well after sanding it down it's super flat! Plus it looks vintage on the edges due to sanding
