percussion bulges. how many knows what they are? because I don't. when I started this a few months ago I was told that a 1/16th pin is what is used and it needs a 1/16 inch hole because I asked because I thought you might want it a little over or a little under to make it tight where you have to beat it in, I did not know. so a 1/16 is what I was told so I got drill bits thought I was ready. and I kind of was, until I read something or saw a video that said if you have a washer that pulls into the wood you can put super glue in the hole and redrill it with a five thirty-second or whatever the next size up is. and I said I thought it was a 1/16th inch, he said well if you want to avoid percussion bulges drill it out to a 5/64 or 32nd I'm not sure which, I'd have to look it up. so my question is what size do you use? this guy uses a 5/64 for a 1/16th rod
