Thread: She has been using my razors!

The past few months I’ve noticed that the edges on some of my razors have been getting dull faster than usual. At first I thought I was just imagining it, and then I thought it was caused by improper honing. One morning while honing some razors, and complaining about it, my fiancé began to laugh. To make a long story short, after having some fun with me, she eventually admitted to using my razors. At first I didn’t believe her and laughed it off. A few minutes later she called me into the bathroom, and there she was shaving her legs with my W&B. After the initial shock subsided, I complimented on her good technique and gave her some pointers. She went on to explain that she never stropped the razors before using them because she was afraid to get nicks in the leather. After showing her how to properly strop, she told me that she wanted her own razor. We jumped on the computer and I showed her a few that I thought she’d like, and she ended up choosing a Double Duck Wonderedge. I’ve always wanted a DD Wonderedge, but could never justify spending that much money on a razor.

Anyway, I thought I’d share this with you. I think she is going to join SRP as well.

Very cool, Mike. You'll be fighting over that Wonderedge for sure. Now if I can only get the same thing to happen in my household. There's always hope!

Man thats great! I have been trying to get my wife to try it but she's not a risk taker. And she is kinda flickted so I havent pushed it. But since she hasnt had mine to take for the last year she is considering it now.
