Thread: I thought this one would be interesting

I came across this listing and immediately thought of my wife. I thought that I would share it with you gals here. The starting price is a bit high but it is certainly original. The tang looks like a bird to me but... I do not know anything about this razor.

I saw that too on the bay, it reminds me of that lamp in the movie "A Christmas Story", it must be from Italy.

The tang is in the shape of a leg. The leg & foot of a lady was very erotic in Victorian times & many antiques are of that shape. I have seen tweezers, shoe shaped penknives & folding legs on a cork screw. They all seem to fetch a premium. I haven’t seen it on a razor before though.
