Thread: New to SRP and the world of SRS

Hello Everyone

My SO started SR shaving 13 days ago and after him talking about it and spending the last 2 days searching antique malls for more SRs I am in. We have been cleaning getting the 6 he bought ready for honing. I just did a DRY run with one he has just about face ready on my thigh and I now want my own. He bought me a DE to get started with but I think I will be skipping that and going right for the SR. I have a boar brush, mug and soap cake kit from Wal Mart to start with. I will read more and ask lots of questions.

Sounds like you've both gotten the bug lately, so you're in very good company.

I went from using disposables to straight shaving, didn't make the DE pit stop. Once you have cracked the blade angle you will be laughing all the way to having the smoothest legs you have ever had!

So is your SO a member here too?

Don't be afraid to ask questions, even if you think they sound stupid. Heck I still ask stupid questions now and I'm almost a year in!!!!

Yes, the bug bit us hard. My SO was a member here first and he said I should join hoping I would convert, it didn't take that long.

He posted a link to pics of what he got, not sure where he posted it (not here to ask sorry) I don't know my way around here yet. I know we have a Hinkle <spelling> or two.
