Thread: building lather

so i think i can talk my GF into at least swaping to good shave soap/cream but whats the best way to get a pile of lather fast

could one use a natural sponge or one of those fluffy scrubber liquid body wash thingys was thinking load the sponge/ scrubbber and use your palm cupped a bit to make lather

would this work
or better yet how are you gals doing things

You could try a puck soap and a scrubby that should work pretty well.

Not sure what a scrubby is. It may be what I'm thinking of too. I'd try one of those net things my wife sometimes uses to wash with. Lather galore from shower cream so it would probably do it.

ok so that willl be the next test (im surre its a bit wasteful but hey that means i get to buy more soap sooner to try )

When I first started I didn't have a brush yet. I just used a folded washcloth in a soap mug. It worked decent. It wasn't as good as a brush, but it worked.
One of those lather builder units would probably do a nice job.

Well, Butch, I would recommend a badger brush. :-P

A while back I was joking around with making a lather machine for home use. Well I started, but haven't had the time to finish it. It was made from a commercial foaming soap dispenser and I used some kiss my face cream. I'm sure if you asked there are a couple of soapers here who could advise or make a proper cream consistency for this unit.

had 2 badgers but sent one to FL with my sister

was just thinking about a lady's leg lather mop
soft but not flimsy and copuld load one whole leg easy liek (save the brush for the smaller body parts )

Not necessarily wasteful, whatever is left over on the scrubby can still be used to wash the rest of her with...
