    Default Ladies' Favorite DE?

Hi, I was hoping some ladies could give me their opinions on their favorite DE razors. This weekend I shaved with my boyfriend's Schick Krona for the first time, and it was rather nice (though there were issues with the handle length). Anywho, what DE do you guys find most comfortable for shaving all the lady parts?

    Hi Melissa,
I don't use DE's (only straights) but I'll follow-up this thread with a lot of interest, since I'd like to buy a DE for my girlfriend.

    Default Merkur 23C

    Hi Melissa,
My wife uses a Merkur 23C that I bought for her and she loves it. She said that it was comfortable to use and likes the long handle for the extra reach she gets when shaving her legs. She's been using the Derby blades with it.

Personally I use a vintage slim adjustable, but anything with a longer handle would be good.

My wife likes the Gillette Knack because of its longer handle.

Hey ladies! I befuddled the DE guys with lag shavin blade advise, so here goes! I am weary of the gimmick stuff offered women! I am a straight blade fiend and decided to buy my household of gals a lady Gillette each for Christmas! What blades do you girls recommend and where do I get a pile for a decent cost! Thanks in advance! I would like to "hear you roar" !!

    Default Other ladies stuff

Thanks, Carrie, for the blade advise. Could you also recommend a reference and/or advise to ladies for using DE razors such as lather, technique, etc? Trying to make this a successful venture!

They can continue to use the products they currently use, or you can get them a brush and soap/cream of their own. I have put together a FAQ for straights that much of can be used for DE. http://www.straightrazorplace.com/fo...8577-faqs.html

Much of the information on prep and lather building used for the guys is transferred over for the ladies. Feel free to pm me with individual questions or have them join and pm me once they receive their set up for Christmas.

Thank You! That FAQ was most interesting! Now I know why I have a pink Boker in my collection! One of my daughters is named Carrie as well. I might be asking more dumb questions....Wish me luck!
