Question Ever tried it with a kabuki brush?

    Hi all,

Out of curiosity, have you ever used a kabuki brush to do the lathering business? With my very naive eyes, I can't really see the difference between a "shaving brush" and a "kabuki brush", except that one is marketed for men, and the other for women.

Okay, there is another reason for this question. I'm buying my bf his first razor and a strop+paste as a birthday gift. I probably should buy him a brush too, but alas my student budget just gets tighter by the day, and let us not talk about facial products, he shouldn't mind buying these for himself. Hopefully.
So for the time being, should I lend him my rarely-used kabuki brush?

You can buy him a very inexpensive Omega boar brush that will do the job very well. Keep your kabuki brush for yourself unless he has uber sensitive skin
