Thread: Pre-Noob from Southern Ontario

I say "Pre-Noob" because I haven't actually used my straight razor yet. I had a full beard since '78 but it went all white a few years ago, so I recently shaved it off except for a soul patch. I've been shaving with the little foil attachment on my bear trimmer until I work up the nerve to try the straight razor.

The razor was my grandfather's, but I never really looked closely at it until today. It is in a W. H. Morley & Sons Clover Brand box, but when I opened it up, I was surprised to find that it is a H. Boker Bicycle Race! There is some rust on the blade, but the edge looks like it should clean up with a honing, I don't know. (I don't have a stone)
