Thread: Greetings.

Been using a straight razor since summer 2009 and been having fun ever since. Only just found out about this site just recently, though.
This has been my collection of gear since then. I have a new brush now that the one in the photo got thrown out by mistake. I really don't like it as well, it feels like there are less bristles, the one in the picture was very soft and full. I started with the black razor with no brand name on it. I haven't had either razor professionally honed, but over time i've gotten pretty handy with my strop and stone.

Addiction/Acquisition disorders (I think). There's RAD BAD SAD...(Razor, Brush, and Soap Acquisition Disorders...)

I've got that going pretty well already. I've been cruising the custom build/restorations forum and trying to keep the drool off my keyboard. My girlfriend doesn't want me spending too much money but she does like the shaves, so she is torn.

Welcome aboard. Nice hardware you have. Beware of the dreaded RAD disease that seems to run rampant on this website.

i'm hoping i can put a fine edge on the black one then maybe make some custom scales.
