Well, I give this forum a 10 on overall and balance, because it's a great forum and has very balanced viewpoints. Craftsmanship.....gotta love the new logo and layout. Price - hey you can't beat free, and no tachy contributor badges, so 10 again. Collectibility.......hmmmm.

But yeah, this is the best razor forum period.

So who's going to start the reviews for the other forums (just kidding - don't do that - serioulsy).

I've lurked here for quite a while, absorbing as much information as I can before I finally took the plunge into straight shaving. There are several forums on the net that offer some really great advice, but this is the most comprehensive site by far with the most knowledgeable persons all in one place.

Overall - an easy 10.

Craftsmanship - Site is well-organized an easy to navigate. 10.

Balance - Folks aren't persecuted for having different beliefs. Everyone's opinions are welcome and they aren't verbally attacked or banned because of any controversy. 10.

Price - Free! 10. Der.

SRP forums are THE BEST .Mainly thanks to the friendly & helpful members who share a common love for straights.

What I like the best is the large amount of information about anything related to shaving, honing, stropping, purchasing and selling related items. No where else is the large consentration of info, it is an internet encyclopedia at your finger tips. Those of us who enjoy shaving, collecting and playing with SR, it is the ultimate place for having fun. Juan.

Even tho I've only been on this forum for a few days, I have to say the following.

Never have I seen a forum where the members are so welcoming, openminded and friendly as here. In addition, the wiki artickles are easy to understand and quite informative and the experiance of the members make this a great forum.

I haven't been a member of SRP for long, nor have I been shaving with a straight razor for very long, but as I was first learning I ended up at this site for help in honing, stropping, and just general technique.

I decided to become a member because everyone on here seems very intelligent and eager to help out those that need it most. Also, everyone is so passionate about wet shaving and always has something new and interesting to bring to a discussion. I am glad to be a part of such a welcoming and knowledgeable online community.
