Default Fire house mustache wax and Cremo beard styling balm review

So I have been wanting to give you my thoughts on a couple products I have purchased but I wanted to use them both for a little bit before saying one thing or another about them. So since I have had these products a month or two here we go

First up is the Fire House mustache wax: If I remember correct there is 3 choices, light, dark and wacky tacky. I went with the dark because of course my mustache is dark so since this is really my first experience with any wax I learned a bit while using this product. First make certain it is warm before use, of course there are several ways to do so but in my experience carrying it in my pocket seems to work the best, I tried warm water and a blow dryer and these two options just don't seem to work as well as my pocket. So once it is warm it should not only come out of the tin nice and easy but also apply super smooth without pulling any stache hairs out. Depending on what I want from my stache depends on how I apply it but in the end this stuff holds really really well and so far I am super happy with it. I can handle bar/ curl my stache and it will easily hold for 12hrs or more. I have even went to bed woke up showered and barely added any to get right back to what I had the previous day! As long as you apply it to a dry mustache with clean, dry and warm fingers this product rocks.

SO next I tried the Cremo beard styling balm: I guess honestly I am not sure what in the world you are supposed to be styling with this stuff. I purchased this on a whim from wally world just to see what it would do. It is a beeswax based product and has essential oils in it. It does have a pleasing scent and what I find it works well for is if I am being lazy and don't feel like using wax in my stache I will put some of this in there and it I will at least keep it out of my mouth. I guess I could say it gives me a more natural look with my stache. I also use it as a replacement for beard oil. I think it applies very nicely and gives my beard a nice smooth, soft feel plus it is not greasy feeling like some beard oils are. This product is a solid in a small jar and you simply make circle motions with you index finger to get some product on your finger and then massage it in where you want it. I will repeat though there is not much of any hold with this stuff.

I hope if you rock a beard or a mustache and have been curious about waxing it up this helps or if you are looking for something a bit different for your beard that this has been of help. Have a good one fellas thanks for reading

I use mustache wax also. The only one I ever used is Brooklyn Grooming. They make several types. So far it's worked fine for me.
