    Default hanging razor rack

in the past i have seen a hanging rack for straights. the rack used shoulder hooks for the razor to rest in. on some, the shoulder hooks had clear plastic sleeves to protect the scale from getting scratched. the plastic sleeve material is what i am looking for. hope one of you gents can help me out.

Could you just use small tubing, like air hose for an aquarium? Most hardware stores have quite a few choices, just dont know if any would be small enough. I have also seen rubber to dip tools into to replace handles that might also work.

I made these with aquarium hosing...something like this?

I found hosing that was right at 1.6mm on the inside, that's about 1/16 inch. Can't be too much smaller than that, can they?

What size are you looking for?

If you use brass hooks, why would you need plastic?

Just my 2 cents, but you might try heat shrink tubing. I know you can get it in different sizes, but not sure how small it comes.

Not to derail the thread, but do you have anymore pictures of that bad boy in the upper left hand corner of your case?

+1 to freebird. Heat shrink tubes work ok. The smallest size i know is 2 mm, and it will shrink enough. These are available in almost any color as well as clear too. Ask your local fine electronic or car repair store.
