Thread: just ordered a dirty bird

well after years of reading about all the scuttles on this forum i FINALLY decided to order one. i ordered the dirty bird 1.5 and cant wait for it to get here. should be here in about 3-4 weeks oh the pains of hand made stuff lol.

very Nice! Thats my plan as soon as taxes get back! In regards to the waiting period, by the time it gets there you'll have forgotten about it so it'll be like a surprise.

well im still waiting, i have tried to forget that i ordered it, but everytime i use my mug it reminds me that there is just no room in that little mug for all that lather and i need my scuttle . i cant wait im so excited, i hope it gets here soon

You will love the Dirty Bird 1.5. I have that. I wonder why I waited all these years to grace my shave den with this sweet scuttle. Enjoy it.

It's worth the wait. Julie does great work. I have the 1.5, and a DB Double Scuttle. It's over 6 inches in Diameter, and hold 4 cups of water. I highly recommend it. Larger scuttles are so much better for lather building...

just got the email, ITS ON ITS WAY!!!! only a few days now

aaaaaaaannnddd its here!!! totally awesome, this thing is huge! however, my shave last night was apparently just to good cause i dont have to shave tonight, guess ill have to wait till tomorrow. but i did test it out and it was great

That's crazy! Our scuttles must have been in the same batch. I just got mine today as well. When I got Julie's email that it was on the way I didn't shave since. That thing worked amazingly! Best lather I've had since starting to shave with a straight (only a month and a half though). Hope you are as excited about it as I am now.

i love mine i cant wait to use it tonight, i got the one that is purple on top and blue on bottom and the top matches the handle of my brush perfectly

I have the DB brush scuttle in brown and it is beautiful and works like a champ. You'll love yours.
