Thread: Is this scuttle I have found

I was cleaning out some old boxes today and did found this little mug. I asked my girlfriend and she told me she used it to have old frying oil before.

IS this a old shaving mug?

Yep. From back in the days when big old bushy mustaches were more common than now.

there's a posting of one of these in another thread.. i too would love to rock a moustasche.. unfortunately my facial hair is too many different colours and i end up looking like charley garcia.

looks like a mustache cup(mug) to me also. Ive had a few and see alot of them around, they are pretty rad.
