    Default Coffins

So my razor coffin got some water damage recently and the end is falling apart, it still hold the razor but I suppose I'm in the market for a new one. Anyone on here sell coffins at all?

Check out the classifieds here, I know at one time there was a member selling coffins, but I don't know if the ad is still listed as it was a couple of months ago if I recall correctly.

Are they really called coffins? I thought they were just "boxes"? They don't die when we stop using them (well, okay, not if we know we're eventually coming back to them..)!

Lol I think it's due to the fact that some of the older ones really were shaped somewhat like coffins for some reason, theres a few on ebay if you search for vintage straight razors

Personally, I think a pine box is best. Some like these cast iron or fancy hermetically sealed things. Either way you just turn to dust anyway just that the big bugs won't get you in the sealed ones and....oh...you mean razor coffins. I think classic shaving sells Dovo boxes.

How are you at woodworking? You could always make one yourself. If you want to see a cool coffin, buried somewhere in the "Custom Builts and Restorations" forum, member BobAllman made a really cool coffin for a custom razor he made. You should check it out if you have some time.

    Sick DIY Project Du Jour:
So you go out and buy you one of these dog coffins. Yes, I was amazed to learn there actually was such a thing

Score you four or five electric humidifiers and a couple gauges mount them inside and this humidor would hold enough stogies to last til the second coming. You could also use it as a coffee table in the man cave. Your deceased canine friend could then be sent to the taxidermist and sit next to your easy chair while you burn a fine cigar and watch the ball game. Now there's a gift for the man who has everything.

I was going to post the same thing when I started reading this.

Actually a lot of people I know use cigar boxes lined with foam and some dessicant packets.

The majority of my income when I worked as an "artist" was from pet urns. People will spend ridiculous prices for their pets.

Also, google "Razor Emporium." They often have a decent selection of empty coffins F/S.
