Thread: Dovo Razor Stand doesn't fit Dovo Razor?

Don't know if anyone else has experienced this, but I recently purchased a Dovo stainless brush and razor stand that cost about $105. I have a Dovo 5/8" Desertwood razor that I wanted to put in it. However, as you can see from the picture it doesn't fit. It hangs about 3/4 of the way in. Anyone else experience this?

That stand is made for a DE razor, not a straight.

Unfortunate, time for a dremel perhaps to make pear shapes out of circles?

As the stand doesn't even fit a fairly standard 5/8, I'd consider it defect IMO. Check with the vendor. That stand I showed is $30 less as well.

My thoughts as well, which let me to checking with the vendor and the response I got was "I have to admit that is very odd." So, I guess I'm pretty much out of luck.
