Field scuttle :D
So I have this habit of browsing major shopping areas and getting hit with bright idea for engineering my own useful items outta random things, anyway this is what happened today.
I was in wally world browsing seeing if anything jumped out at me and I came across what I at first thought was a normal soup Thermos that was the perfect size for a "redneck scuttle" to be used in the field, then I noticed it had a second lid, opening it up I realized it was the perfect size to hold shaving soap, But it was bright red
so off to the paint section I go, and find some OD green spray paint, "perfect", pick that up on my way out I saw some tan textured when dry spray paint hmm I think I wonder is that would work to give the bottom of my scuttle a texture for better lathering so grab that too. And here's what I came up with tell me what you guys think.

I love the concept (I'm a huge fan of redneck/ghetto ingenuity!), but was there a pic attached? I'd love to see it.

I like it, how did the textured paint inside work out? What section of wally world did you find this in? Might want to copy this idea if you dont mind

same section you would find the coffee mugs and themos's in, the textured paint works well enought for what it is, there may be better ways, as mine still smells like paint and im a little worried it will break down over time but so far works well just make sure your let it dry for a few days before you trey and use it I also etched the bottem, but I dont think you need to do this as the stuff I used had a better texture the I origanly thought it would.
Feel free to use and improve on. i know I will be :P
