Question where to get dessicant / silicon bags?

    Hi all,

(I live in Vancouver, BC, Canada and) I can't find dessicant bags ( = hygroscopic bags = silicon bags?).
I've tried hardware store, drug stores, ... None have them.

So my question is: You, where do you buy your dessicant bags? (small ones, for razor storage)

    Thanks
    Christophe.

small enough and big enough to be stored with 1 to 7 other razors.

I'd like to keep some of my razors in the bathroom, because it is so much more convenient for me.
Right now they are stored in platic containers, really not the best.
I'd like at least to find a way of keeping few razors ("1 to 7") in the bathroom without being always afraid of the rust.

so I think small would be the answer

    This will work.

I've collected about 2 liters worth of those little packets in the past 15 years (since moving to Maryland). Every kids' toy, piece of optics, electronics, guns, gadgets, shoes, medications, you name it, everything has one or two of those little packets of silica gel in them and it just occurred to me they'd come in handy someday and don't take much room in a large mason jar. I've also bought several silica gel packs from brownells.com for storing handguns. Try ebay, too.

Reactivating them takes some time, but they can be used indefinitely.
