I really like razor rolls. They are a neat, compact way to store several razors and adds some protection. It also beats keeping them in the original boxes that you would put several in a bigger box, sometimes two bigger boxes that took up a lot of room. Yep! Rolls make more sense.

Very nice, especially the purple satin backing adds a real nice touch.

Great looking roll. I really must invest in one of these. Besides being a great way to store razors they also look really cool. Besides, the silverware tray in my bathroom drawer is getting kind of full.

I'm glad you posted this. I've a roo hide on the way I plan on making a few strops for. I wonder if I could make myself a little roll, too. I can see how it would use an inordinate amount of hide, though, with all those pockets. I've also never stitched anything in my life.

May your bone always be well buried
Mark, rather than using expensive hide to make the pockets, use a suitable material of your own choice. The hide is for the backing and the edge trimming. A roll will take a big chunk out of the usable leather on a 'roo hide.

Hi Mick,
Yeah, I see where you're going. Effx's pictures definitely show another material for the pockets, and even have a liner. It may be above my pay-grade at the moment but I think at some point I could pull this off. I only have one hide on the way and I've a feeling I may ruin a bit of it before I get a good strop or two out of it. I shouldn't get too far ahead of myself.
But thanks. That would certainly save me unnecessary use of roo leather.
