    Default Chile Pepper Fest!!!!

Today I attended the 20th Annual Bowers Pennsylvania Chile Pepper Fest. For us inferno freaks, this place is a Mecca. I met the guys credited for cultivating the hottest pepper in the world. It is known as the Carolina Reaper. I scored a few along with some peach Bhut Jolokia also known as the Ghost pepper. Here's a couple pics of peppers along with some sauces, mustard, apple smoked habaneros and jelly that I picked up. In my poor belly laying is...smoked crab poppers, Carl's kickin chili, a jalapeņo cheeseburger melt and a choc PB cup with bacon and reaper pepper. Name: image.jpg

A hot old thread revived! Those Carolina Reapers were developed just up the road from me in York, SC. My fishing buddy's Dad is growing them
