Yeah well it is early and working second shift means that I enjoy my scotch in the early am. Lol

Regretably, the Sunshine State could have easily passed for Portland or Seattle today. Gray nasty and drizzling all day long. Four fingers of Mr. John Jameson usually does a fine job of removing the damp from my bones. Cheers fellas! Here's to the weekend!

I bet it gets pretty bad down there in FLA, the biting wind, the driving rain and the cold..... the absolutely horrendous cold.

Good God Man! It's not even 70 degrees out there, it's absolutely inhumane! But seriously, I think it's a matter of perspective. I've lived lots of places that were seriously horrendous cold (Fairbanks, Alaska and Iceland to name just a couple). It's all according to what you're used to and those of us who live down here are pretty darned spoiled when it comes to weather. When I lived in Fairbanks it wasn't uncommon for me to go out and run or cross country ski all day at 30 below zero or colder. Now anything much below 50 degrees and I'm housebound until the weather warms up. On that note, I'll go fetch another Jameson.

Balvenie 12yr and laphroaig 10 year are my two everyday drinking scotches. For special occasions I have a bottle of Laphroaig 18yr.

A left over meatloaf sandwich (cheese, mayo, dijon mustard on Cuban Bread) with a Jameson chaser.
