I used to go Alum and then Nivea but the first was a little agressive and I got a few zits from the second. The last few times I've just used Speick after shave and have been very pleased with the results. Not much of a burn and good smooth feeling. Pretty light scent which may appeal to paying customers too. I'd be interested if you come on another solution that meets approval with a number of paying customers.

I just use the nivea men hydrating lotion with spf 15 sunscreen in it. Might be nice for your customers to know they are getting sun protection off you as well as a beautiful head!

Head lube by headblade is awesome stuff! I use it regularly non scented hypoalligenic and moisterizes and gives a nice even gloss to a well shaved head! Fairly cheap and goes a very very long way.

When I used to shave my head every day, I would just follow it up with unscented, non-greasy lotion with an SPF 5. Not enough to actually keep all the sun off, but kept scalp from turning the color of a walnut in the summers.

Nivea has a balm for sensitive skin with no dyes and its alchohol free. You may add a few drops of water to thin it out a little bit.

A natural Vitamin C cream thined out with a few drops of water can have the same good effect.

Both of these have worked well for me and I have sensitive skin.

I just discovered a new line of products that works well with my sensitive skin, and it's L'Oreal products for sensitive skin.

It is better for my skin than the other products I tried.

    Default post head shave

Even though I am new to the world of straight razor shaving, I have been shaving my head for a long time. I swear by Headblade products, they make a post shave treatment that works wonders for me. They also make a pre-shave treatment that is awesome. Their website is headblade.com

I have used alot of different mosturizers in the last 6 years of shaving my head. Headblade does make a good headlube butin the summer it leaves my scalp feeling oily and wet. Nivea after shave works I only use it every now and the and sparingly then. My main after shave for my head and by far my favorite is just plain old aloe from walmart in the large pump bottle. It leaves the skin mosturized without the oily look or feel and can be reapplied anytime you want.
